Cornus alba Spaethii

Height: 0,2–0,3 m

Variegated dogwood Spaethii is a broad, bushy deciduous shrub with an upright branching system, growing to a height of 1.5-2 m. Its leaves are oval, green, with golden-yellow edges, which have ornamental value in themselves. Its flowers are small, white and bloom in May and June. The fruit is a white, round berry. The dark red branches are very striking in winter, especially in the snow. It likes a sunny to partially shaded spot and well-structured soil. It needs a moderate amount of water. It can be planted as a specimen, but also has a decorative effect as a hedge.
